For this project, I created a character with lots of details and layers.
Part of a collection which I called "Freaks and Geeks."
I find that tattooed people are harshly misrepresented in stop motion cinema.
So I decided to bring to life the most punk character I could.
Covered in tattoos, painted nails, piercings, and custom-made jewelry.
The Punk stands at 10 inches tall, featuring a fully posable armature body and padded muscles for added reinforcement.
He's quite a beefy guy, but that doesn't stop him from being animated.
His face is a polymer clay-made sculpture, with wooden eyes that can be animated with clay eyelids and wax. The pupils could then be later added in post.
Being a man of few words, Punk holds his smile in a weird, unsettling way.

This is a Female character that stands at 14 inches tall.
With a fully posable armature body, and a replaceable wig.
Similarly constructed armature as the Punk, except with a fully epoxy putty skeleton, and minimal foam padding.
